Beginner Courses
Learners at A1 level CEFR can communicate in everyday situations with common expressions and elementary vocabulary. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is the system that defines the different levels of oral and written expression and comprehension for languages. An A1 level learner will develop skills to allow them to understand and use very common everyday expressions and simple phrases for immediate needs. They can introduce themselves and other people, can ask and answer questions about personal details, such as where they live, things they have and people they know. Our live classes and one-to-one courses with personal tutors are designed to offer a safe and inclusive learning environment to help you improve your English and achieve your ambitions.


Intermediate Courses
Learners at B1 level CEFR can communicate in everyday situations with common expressions and elementary vocabulary. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is the system that defines the different levels of oral and written expression and comprehension for languages. A B1 level learner will further develop skills to allow them to understand the main points of clear texts on familiar topics in standard language. They can manage most situations on a trip to places where English is used. They can produce simple, organised texts about familiar topics, and they can describe experiences, events, wishes and aspirations, and explain opinions and plans. them to understand and use very common everyday expressions and simple phrases for immediate needs.
KS 2 Courses
The overarching aim for English in the National Curriculum (NC) at KS 2 is to promote high standards of language and literacy by equipping students with a strong command of the spoken and written word, and to develop their love of literature through widespread reading for enjoyment. The NC for English aims to ensure that all students development across the whole curriculum – cognitively, socially, and linguistically. Spoken language continues to underpin the development of students reading and writing during key stage 2 to ensure confidence and competence in this area continue to develop. Age appropriate PTE (Proficiency test in English) assessment can be used at end of course.


KS 3 Courses

Age-appropriate PTE (Proficiency test in English) assessment can be used at end of course.
English Language IGCSE A or B
Designed for international students: We have ensured that the anthology texts are engaging, suitable for all students and that they include a diverse range of international authors. We will provide alternative assessment routes (coursework and examination options) to suit different student needs across the world. The design of the Edexcel International GCSE (9–1) English Language A or B qualification aims to extend students’ knowledge by broadening and deepening skills including reading and responding to materials from a variety of source. Students are able to develop their speaking and listening skills through an optional endorsement.


English Literature IGCSE
Designed for international students we have ensured that the anthology texts are engaging, suitable for all students and that they include a diverse range of international authors and poets. The texts include poetry, prose and drama. Coursework and examination options provide alternative assessment routes to suit different student needs across the world. The design of the Edexcel International GCSE (9–1) English Literature qualification aims to extend students’ knowledge by broadening and deepening skills.
English Language AS/A Level
This is a one or two-year modular course for students. The content is relevant for international students as it covers up to date, engaging classical and international texts. The course enables students to develop and apply their understanding of concepts and methods appropriate for the analysis of and study of language. It engages the students to think creatively, critically, and independently investigate the study of the English.


English Literature AS/A Level
This is a one year or two-year course for students. The students will study 4 texts for each year which include a novel, collection of poems and two drama texts. The texts will span a wide range of time periods and cultures to include American and British writers. The exam will be a closed book and students are expected to revise quotations, respond to extracts. There is an emphasis on personal engagement with texts and critically exploring themes and ideas presented to form original interpretations.
