Beginner Courses

As an Arabic beginner, you will be able to get started so that you are not afraid to exchange a few words with an Arabic speaking person, get a grip of Arabic pronunciation so you can understand the Arabic when they speak to you, and be understood by them. This level is designed to give you confidence as you set out on your Arabic learning journey. (Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) A1/2)

Intermediate Courses

Arabic intermediate ensures students become more proficient is the 4 language skills of listening, speaking, wring and reading, at Modern Standard Arabic (Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) B1/B2) and to understand key aspects of the Arabic world and its culture. Acquisition of increased vocabulary and a deeper understanding of the rules of Arabic grammar is a key element.

KS 2 Courses

Students of KS2 Arabic enjoy interactive and engaging lessons, suitable for complete beginners to the language or those with existing knowledge. Activities focus on fluency of spoken Arabic, with lively conversations in each lesson. Students expand their Arabic vocabulary, and develop their understanding of Arabic verbs and grammar, enabling them to begin reading and writing short sentences. Students are also introduced to aspects of Arabic culture.

KS 3 Courses

Students of KS3 Arabic enjoy interactive and engaging lessons, progressing in their language acquisition, skill and knowledge. Activities focus on fluency of spoken Arabic, with lively conversations in each lesson. Students expand their Arabic vocabulary, and develop their understanding of Arabic verbs and grammar, enabling them to begin reading and writing in extended sentences. Students are also introduced further to wider aspects of Arabic culture.

IGCSE Courses

The IGCSE Arabic course has been designed to help candidates develop language proficiency. this is a one- or two-year course with a final assessment. Arabic is also one of the official languages of the United Nations. Designed to make language learning enjoyable and stimulating, the IGCSE Arabic specification rewards advanced research and reading skills and acknowledges the importance of Arabic language culture. The content is broad and includes skills and topic areas that have been carefully selected to ensure that the qualification is inclusive and appealing for all international students. The qualification has been designed to allow for flexibility in approach to teaching the content, course of study, or through the teaching of the local curriculum. We have ensured we have chosen texts that are cultural. The grammar skills needed to complete the discrete grammar section successfully will help students meet university course demands

AS/A Level Courses

Our International AS/A level in Arabic will develop students' understanding of Arabic in a variety of contexts and genres, and teach them how to communicate confidently, clearly, and effectively in Arabic. Students will develop an awareness and understanding of the contemporary society, cultural background and heritage of the countries or communities where Arabic is spoken. This is a 1 or 2 year assessed course and the qualification is highly recognised by top British universities.
